This selection has blue-purple flowers in spring with narrower petals that the hybrids and may grow lower than other Iris douglasiana -- 6" - 12" tall. Prefers well-drained soil.
Prefers sun or part shade or shade in coastal sites, and part shade in inland sites. A selection introduced by Suncrest Nurseries.
