Plant description

Grows best in loamy, medium draining soil. Prefers part shade in coastal sites, and part shade or shade in inland sites. North Coast, Klamath Ranges, Outer North Coast Ranges, Inner North Coast Ranges, High Cascade Range, High sierra Nevada, Central Coast, sF Bay area, High sierra Nevada.
